NAS THE KING is yes OUR ARTIST OF THE DAY!

(SOME INFO COMIN SOON!)

Debbie Harry KICKS ASS!

YOU MIGHT RECONIZE HER FROM THE BAND Blondie! She rocked very hard back in the day. She is still considered one of the faces of punk rock!! She is by far my favorite rock star of the 80's. Yes I am one of those people trying to bring the 80's back because so much cool stuff happen that decade...the fashion and music top the list though!!! Please if you are ever bored or looking for some good music type in her name on itunes, limewire, etc and just start downloading... will seriously change yourlife! MY FAVE ALBUM OF HERS IS Def, Dumb and Blonde!

Whats with the artist of the day you ask?

Well I am just a big music person. Music effects my life a great deal and its just like breathing for me. I can't go long periods of time without it. I also like all types but I like more "on another level" stuff because "trash" just doesn't make you think the way more complicated and well thought out msuic does. I really apreciate all the artist that can really take me there (where ever there is LOL). Yess I am a big Hip-hop listner but I also love Alternative Rock,Classic Rock,R&B,Emo (yess I said it!),Alternative Hip-Hop (ex.N.E.R.D,Gym Class Heros),Folk,Etc. Yes I can dig mainstreem but I love underground stuff because I feel like I can enjoy it more instead of having a hundred people humming it all the time. Woah this went 360 of what I wanted to say but oh wateva...PEACE!

Charlotte Sometimes

Artist of the day! (more info coming...just a tad busy in the office today!!)

The first time Charlotte Sometimes came onto my radar was when I was looking through my friends concert photos and vids and I saw one her performances....and at that momment I was hooked. Then I saw her again on Vh1 with those little new artist spots they have and I went online and checked out her cd and it blew me away. She has a very orginal but beutiful voice and is it just me or is this girl just simply beautiful!

Miss Keyshia Cole...OUR ARTIST OF THE DAY....

... Or better yet our artist of "whenever I remember to change it lol"

Miss Cole has come a hell of a long way! I think that's whats so cool about her! Yes the old saying "you can take the girl out the hood but you can't take the hood out of the girl" is very true with her. I love that she hasn't lost who she is in all her success. I have been listening to her since "I Changed My Mind". She is one of the best songstress of our time. She tells a story with her songs and I love that. I have to turned on miss Keyshia many times after a boy has done me wrong or has broken my heart. Her lyrics up lift you and at a point in time in my life "I Remember" brought me to tears....because I could relate so much with it. Her Cd's "Just like You " and "The Way It Is" stay in heavy rotation on my ipod. Did I mention she has swag like a serious rockstar? I thank you Miss Cole for holding it down for the ladies because God knows we need it it!

The Ting Tings

Did I mention I am also a super indie-pop fan? Well now you know!
I just started listening to them but they have a really cool indie hipster feel to them and I posted one of their videos a few days ago so you need to check that out. PLEASE CHECK OUT THEIR NEW CD "WE STARTED NOTHING"! I PLAY "SHUT UP AND LET ME GO ALL THE TIME AND THEIR CD IS ALWAY IN ROTATION ON MY IPOD!!!!!
DAMN ENGLISH BANDS,Singers, and GROUPS ARE KILLING IT RIGHT NOW!!

YES THEY ARE ARTIST OF THE DAY!

ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS

Well to share alittle with you guys that read.... I am the biggest alternative rock and classic rock listner. I have been listening to coldyplay since Parachutes. Their new cd Viva La Vida is killing it right now. I think everybody should go pick it up... Its super soothing and just good music.

This is why I made them artist of the day!

Oh Baby its Raining

Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded is being said to be on track to sell between 45,000 and 50,000 copies. Not bad at all for a re-release.

She is also our artist of the day!
