Charlotte Sometimes
Artist of the day! (more info coming...just a tad busy in the office today!!)
The first time Charlotte Sometimes came onto my radar was when I was looking through my friends concert photos and vids and I saw one her performances....and at that momment I was hooked. Then I saw her again on Vh1 with those little new artist spots they have and I went online and checked out her cd and it blew me away. She has a very orginal but beutiful voice and is it just me or is this girl just simply beautiful!

Miss Cole has come a hell of a long way! I think that's whats so cool about her! Yes the old saying "you can take the girl out the hood but you can't take the hood out of the girl" is very true with her. I love that she hasn't lost who she is in all her success. I have been listening to her since "I Changed My Mind". She is one of the best songstress of our time. She tells a story with her songs and I love that. I have to turned on miss Keyshia many times after a boy has done me wrong or has broken my heart. Her lyrics up lift you and at a point in time in my life "I Remember" brought me to tears....because I could relate so much with it. Her Cd's "Just like You " and "The Way It Is" stay in heavy rotation on my ipod. Did I mention she has swag like a serious rockstar? I thank you Miss Cole for holding it down for the ladies because God knows we need it it!

I LOVE AMERICAN APPAREL!!
I buy all my basics and leggings from there. I am a recovering edgy wearing clothes adict....now I realized I am really meant to be pretty basic...and I think that whole antm judging thing has worn of on me (you know how they used to undress the girls to make them look more "model like" instead of being "mall like" LOL).
My most reccent purchase was the "Organic Fine Jersey Short Sleeve T with Green Thread"
I also love how everything comes in all kind of colors so why just buy it in white....go and get that in baby blue and black boah!!

BYE BYE MISS JONES!
New York City radio personality Miss Jones is out of a job at Hot 97. The hot urban radio station has said their plans to replace the controversial Miss Jones in the Morning with the better syndicated show Big Boy’s Neighborhood (which i listen everyday on my way to volunteer and work). She is kinda cold I don't blaim them for droping her ass!!
